Artisan Style and CityArtCal have teamed up to present the art of the Fine Art of Dallas
2011 to Dallas. Five years ago, frustrated local artist Jennifer Culbertson decided to
publish a yearly art engagement book to showcase the hidden wealth of talented
artists Dallas can proudly call its own.  The 128 page book includes as many as 100
Dallas area fine artists and is delivered at no charge in November to 14,000 homes
in Park Cites, Preston Hollow and Lakewood neighborhoods.

Artisan Style is the latest avant guard boutique gallery to open in the Routh Fairmont
area and is run by Brandon Lynch, born in New Jersey and stuck on the art of Texas.
A graduate from SMU in communications, Brandon worked in advertising and began
visiting art galleries on the side. Most of the traditional galleries he visited made him

atmosphere led to opening a boutique gallery in an old house which had been
home to art for years.  Inviting, relaxing and comforting; the feel he wanted and

When Culbertson approached Lynch about the 2011 Fine Art in Dallas book, there
was an immediate spark. Artisan Style was showing a number of the artists in the
book already, so it seemed only natural to join forces in promoting Dallas art. They
both agree that what makes a city truly unique can be found in the art created
there. Does art unseen make an impact? Not if Culbertson and Lynch have
anything to say about it!  The show opens September 10th from 5 until 8pm
at Artisan Style, 247 Mahon Street, Dallas, Texas 75201.
