| olor. Born and raised in Texas, Jamie holds a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin. Over the years, Jamie has had the fortune of studying with many different types of artists from painters to photographers, seamstresses and studied under renowned painter Bill Komodore and world-class mosaicists Sonia King, Emma Biggs, Ilana Shafir, Matteo Randi and others. |

| Each piece is started by building the surface in the same way a painter works and then she creates multiple levels and layers, along with traditional mosaic tiles and techniques. .Her work appeared in the 2008 New Texas Talent show at Craighead Green Gallery and most recently in a juried show at the Bathhouse Cultural Center. Jamie recently completed a successful show at The Dahlia Woods gallery |

| About eight years, Jamie began making mosaics and it quickly became the main event in her career. In addition, she participated in a tempered glass workshop and with this new found knowledge, was able to bring all the facets of her learning together. Her works are mosaics and paintings combined and she feels liberated to have the freedom to use any color, fabric, decorative paper, glitter, jewelry--the list is endless into every piece she creates. |
