featured artist Justin Bua
Internationally known for his best-selling collection of fine art posters, Justin's most recognized piece is The DJ. Born in 1968 in NYC's untamed Upper West Side and raised between Manhattan and East Flatbush, Brooklyn, BUA was fascinated by the raw, visceral street life of the city.

He attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts and complemented his education on the streets by writing graffiti and performing worldwide with breakdancing crews.

BUA’S energetic and worldwide fan base ranges from former presidents, actors, musicians, professional athletes, and dancers, to street kids and art connoisseurs. With a resume that includes a clothing line and a limited edition shoe collection, BUA began his career in the world of commercial art, designing myriad projects from skateboards and CD covers to advertising campaigns.

In his first book, THE BEAT OF URBAN ART,” BUA melds urban rhythms, graffiti and classical art training into a visually arresting autobiographical book which explores New York City during the 1970’s and 80’s

More than 30 works by groundbreaking artist Justin BUA will be on display at The 4th Wall Gallery June 21-August 31. The 4th Wall Gallery 2925 Fairmount Street Dallas, TX 75201 www.the4thwallgallery.net
